Do you remember the delicate petri dish in the science lab? What is in the dish? How do we see it? It appears almost invisible! Curiosity got the better of us! We wanted to be the first to know. It was an exciting, thrilling and often a dramatic moment. To discover, to know, to recognize!
Where is that curiosity now? Does it disappear as we grow older? It is certainly possible to rekindle the spirit of inquiry. To keep it alive. To use it to discover facets of ourselves that are usually hidden. To locate those unknown spots, the strengths, the inner power.
All that is needed is a desire to seek within. To tap into the petri dish of our sub-conscious mind, which is a storehouse of all our experiences, beliefs and thoughts. Often when faced with untoward situations in life, it helps to direct our curiosity within. To close our eyes, focus on our breathing and discover the answers to all our questions.
Closing our eyes removes all distractions around us. Makes it easier for us to maintain focus.
Watching our breathing prevents the mind from wandering and calms us.
Asking the right questions using how and what, guides the sub-conscious to reveal responses that are useful, suitable & often perfect.
This experience is exciting, thrilling and often dramatic too!
Discover, know and recognize yourself. Keep the curiosity burning.
I often do so, do you?
